Excellent quality zabuton

My wife and I bought a pair of these to use as living room seating with our kotatsu table. They are exactly what I was searching for. Most other cushions have some sort of poly filling which feels soft but then balls up and rolls around under you when you put even the slightest amount of weight on it. I wanted either cotton or foam to avoid that problem. These are kapok which is effectively equivalent to cotton. The cushion provides even support throughout and is comfortable enough for me to use for hours of gaming, TV, movies, or whatever. The size is perfect since I can kneel on it with my ankles extended (instep down) and I'm still all on the cushion. Japanese-sourced cushions can run a bit small for me to kneel (I'm 5'11") without folding my toes inwards. Cross-legged sitting is also comfortable on these. Response from the company was fast. I had my cushions the next full business day after ordering. I'm only 150 miles away from them so the shipping itself didn't take long but the product was shipped out the next day. Well-packaged too. Five stars all around for the cushions and for zafustore.com. Definitely ordering more of these.

Excellence for Practice Comfort & Stability

I am a repeat customer. There is good reason for returning to zafustore.com. As an ordained priest and head teacher for several Zen groups, I have tried many zafus and zabutons from various makers. These are, by far, the best. They are uniform, durable, stable and comfortable. My previously ordered zabutons have far outlasted many others from other makers. Thank you for a quality and affordable essential piece of equipment.

Wonderful Mat/Cushion

This is the second zabuton that my family has ordered from zafustore.com. We use both daily, sometimes for up to an hour at a time. The quality of the cushion is wonderful, very sturdy and comfortable. The color is rather pleasing (both of our cushions are sand color) and the filling/loft of the cushion is thick and comfortable. In the 2.5 years between the purchase of our two mats, I can honestly say that not too much compression has occurred. The filling is holding up well. Both mats are medium sized, and for us that size is appropriate. I am 5'6" and my husband is 5'9".
I would recommend this mat for use by anyone who sits. (On a side note, it also doubles as a very lovely cat bed.)

Very comfortable zabuton

I purchased this zabuton along with a large buckwheat zafu. It is well made, very comfortable, and the kapok fibers show no early signs of compression or wear. Be aware that it is a tiny bit on the small side. I'm not tall, but I sit Burmese style and my forward leg barely has enough room unless I position the zafu off the rear edge of the zabuton. If you're on the tall side or limited in flexibility you might opt for a larger size.

Great comfortable Zabuton

This cushion is a nice size and well made. My only advise in shopping for one is that the color is a bit different, a little darker than what appeared online. I like it though, maybe even a little better than the online one. I got the "clay". Overall I am glad I got it and am going to pass the company's name to a friend because it is good quality and the best price I found for zabutons.

The cushioning is just right, your back will slouch if its too soft, your butt will hurt if its too hard!
I can sit in the lotus posture and meditate on this for an hour without any discomfort.
Highly recommended!
